Overview

This is an article that will help you with your email settings on any email client. 

Incoming Account Settings - IMAP 

IMAP is more modern and allows server-based email management for multi-device access but needs an internet connection and more storage. All emails will be saved on Strata's servers.

• Connection Type: IMAP 
• Port: 993 
• Security Option: SSL 
• Hostname: imap.stratanet.com 
• Username: <your email address> 
• Password: <your password>  

Incoming Account Settings - POP

POP downloads emails to the device, providing offline access with less storage but not good for multi-device access. It may also cause delays in receiving new messages. No emails will be saved on Strata's servers.

• Connection Type: POP 
• Port: 995 
• Security Option: SSL 
• Hostname: pop.stratanet.com 
• Username: <your email address> 
• Password: <your password>  

Outgoing Account Settings

• Hostname:  smtp.stratanet.com 
• Port: 587 
• Security Option: STARTTLS (TLS) 
• Check "My server requires authentication." 
• Username: <your email address> 
• Password: <your password>

Troubleshooting

If you're having trouble with email, you may encounter a few common issues, such as being unable to send or receive emails, receiving error messages on your email client, or getting a return email with an error.
