In today’s world of so many login IDs and passwords, these have become essential. A password manager syncs across each of your devices (Windows, Mac, iPhone, Android). It’s important to not reuse passwords for different sites. When a site has a data breach, those usernames and passwords get sold or published to the internet and then your accounts get hacked or you get phished. Check to see if you’re a victim of a breach: You can use this tool to see if any of your accounts are associated with a specific email address. You can search all the addresses you use for your different accounts. If you have been part of a breach, go to that account and change the password asap.
