In today’s world of so many login IDs and passwords, these have become essential. A password manager syncs across each of your devices (Windows, Mac, iPhone, Android). It’s important to not reuse passwords for different sites. When a site has a data breach, those usernames and passwords get sold or published to the internet and then your accounts get hacked or you get phished. DON’T USE THE SAME PASSWORD FOR DIFFERENT SITES. Good password managers (there are others as well):
Check to see if you’re a victim of a breach: You can use this tool to see if any of your accounts are associated with a specific email address. You can search all the addresses you use for your different accounts. If you have been part of a breach, go to that account and change the password asap.
